When a surge occurs, it travels to an electrical panel and then gets distributed to all equipment attached to that panel, causing a wide range of malfunctions. A Power-Savings unit is placed on the electrical panels in your home or business, so that when a surge occurs, it travels through the Power-Savings unit, which stops the surge in its tracks and prevents the surge from being distributed.
